Are you looking to discover your body awareness, or practice this wonderful skill of becoming aware of your body.
I understand that this may be a little challenging for some of you and others will easily pick it up.
When your brain perceives an event as stress, your body often reacts by becoming tense. Body awareness helps you recognize these physical feelings that indicate you’re experiencing stress.
The more you practice this technique the more body aware you will become. This leads to a less stressful life as you will be able to notice when you are having a stress response, giving you an opportunity to change what is required. This can be as simple as what you are thinking about as your body doesn’t know the difference between what is real and what is thought. The stress response it the same for the body either way.
In todays meditation we will explore the ability of your awareness. You may find it a challenge at first, but stick with it. We spend time healing the body and appreciating everything the body is able to do for you. Finally you will be asked to set a new intention for your day.
Creating space for peace, healing and transformation happens when you are able to make a practice out of these meditations. I hope you are enjoying these as much as I enjoy facilitating them.
